RE: Silent Hill: Origins
i know i'm late for this thread, but let me join in.
I played this game about a year ago on my Samsung Note3, 3GB RAM.
Here's what i got :
Heavy screen flickering, slow character movement (low fps maybe? getting even worse + heavier flickering when the flashlight is on), but the sound is okay here Rolleyes
I've managed to go until the theater (with the low fps and flickering screen) and crashes at the theater boss fight (forgotten the name Undecided ) due to the super-duper dark area where you have to constantly turn on your flashlight to fight the boss.
Even my programming professor can't help much about this thing at that time Tongue

So, it's been a year and i would like to know if the game is playable now (hopefully for the new update to be great).
Thanks Big Grin

Hello everyone. Here are my best settings to fix the graphical issues. I tried these on PPSSPP PC version and I did not encounter glitches or any FPS drops. Currently, I am using PPSSPP build 1.2.2 in Windows 10 x64 (VGA:nVidia 710M, Core i5 Intel Processor, RAM 5GB). Hope these will help. Thanks.

RE: Silent Hill: Origins
Anything that can be done about the performance of this game? or is it just up to the game being very demanding?

(Please don't point me to the above settings post, i have braincells.)

RE: Silent Hill: Origins
I made it to the end of the hospital but as I leave the game bogs down to like 1 fps and freezes. I don't see anyone else with this problem. I tried reseting PPSPP back to defaults and trying flipping options but no luck.

Finished the hospital boss but I cannot leave the hospital Sad
