@zxcvbad Thx for the links. However it doesn't solve my problem. It seems that the problem in android 4.3 and 4.4 is that the temperature bar was lowered thus it downclocks CPU faster.
On Android 4.2.2 the treshold was 70 celcius degrees which was giving much more time to play with ppsspp.

@gnubaver You may also try Ihackers custom rom which is superfast despite it is Android 4.3.

Adjusting the thermal threshold would be a temporary fix then.

If overheating is an hardware issue then it is an only fix.
