Frameskip ?
Henrik, have you any immediate plans for introducing frameskip or will it come later? thx.

Also im not sure if this has already been asked, iv used the search bar but nothin so thx anyways.

There's an issue on GitHub for it. I believe it's tentatively planned for 0.7.

Hi Henrik I tried the new frameskip in the following games

FF TYPE-0 Full speed at all times but the screen blinks black every 3 secondsUndecided

Wipeout Pure Full speed all times with the same problem also 3 secondsDodgy

motogp same case full speed and 3 secondsConfused

Stand the screen blinks with bufered rendering enabled

bufered with disabled removes the winksTongue

thx henrik, is there anyway to smooth this out? im getting large skips although it may be due to my gpu and the fact jit doesnt really work on my phone thx.

In my chase for example Bleach 7 runs at 15 FPS max without frameskip, with frameskip on it goes up to 40-50 but nothing smooth, there are many jumps between the images and even the screen blink with black screen.

Unsing with others game that runs 55-60 without it goes to 60 always without skipping nothing and smooth

ok what phone you got?

yep i get big frame skip between frames, i think thats due to the emu runnin slow on my phone Smile ie fpse runs pretty good on my phone at 1ghz and with frameskip fast and smooth, but if i underclock to see what it would be like if the emu was slowwr framrate very dodgy. I think the faster the emu gets the more smooth frameskip would be. Henrick i think i just answered my own question. lol

Im gettin very good speed with frameskip still needs work but wow nearly full speed thx henrik n team. Smile I never thought i would get full speed but its heading there and i bet ya not even close to finishing optimising so faster still. Smile thx again.

frameskipping not working on wipeout etc on latest build android(not tried windows yet) if you already know ignore this, just thought id give a heads up..

problem is it hangs until you disable it.

a few games wipeout, pes 13 ..

I'm using PPSSPP on my Samsung Galaxy Ace and I don't know how to use frameskip...
I got ver. 0.6.1 I guess.

It was implemented after 0.61, you can download the latest build on the boton of http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html
or wait 1 week or 2 more or less till 0.7 will be release
