Lightbulb LAN Play with (PC) PPSSPP and PSP
I played LAN multiplayer of Ford Street Racing with friend on PSP and the Emulator (PPSSPP) AdHoc mode. and its work!Angel

so, i will give little tutorial to play LAN game with PSP and PPSSPP (PC)

first your PSP must use the latest PRO custom firmware and use the PRO Online Client plug-in (enable it).

ON THE PSP: open ms0:/seplugins
Edit the SERVER.txt with the local ip of your PC (ex. 192.168.3.1) and HOTSPOT.txt with your router SSID (ex. MYHOTSPOT).
[/u]Warning : [/u] The last line of these 2 files must be an empty line.

actually, im just use my WIFI adaptor to create Virtual Hotspot, but it just work Big Grin

MY HARDWARE:
+ prolink wn2001 usb wifi adapter (SoftAP mode)
+ PSP 2000 (Pro CFW + Pro Online Plugin)
+ One basic PC

!IMPORTANT: Download ADHOC Server, and open it. Not needed anymore, now you just have to enable the built-in server in Networking settings.
NOTE: Enable upnp on your computer (turn on Network Discovery) in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center\Advanced sharing settings

Start PPSSPP, go to Networking settings :
- enable networking
- enable the built-in ad hoc server
- write the local/private IP address of your PC
- make sure "Port offset" is set to "0"

Okay, now.. open the game that support Ad-Hoc Multiplayer on the PPSSPP.

IMPORTANT: you must enable wifi in PSP
Open the same game on your PSP

START THE GAME!!
RULES
ON PPSSPP: create or host the game
ON PSP: join the game

NOTE: If your PSP Freeze, rename or delete the pspnet_miniupnc.prx on ms0:/kd/
NB: maybe this tutorial wont work for all games.

This doesn't seem to be working with me. It starts to attempt to load and then it says connection terminated on the ppsspp. What version are you using?

How about playing ad hoc with two computers connected to the same router via lan cable? Is this tutorial going to work for that?

RE: LAN Play with (PC) PPSSPP and PSP
Hi, I tried this method and it works!
Using MHFU

Unfortunately, after a period of time playing. When we get into a mission the PSP suddenly breaks off the connection.
What seems to be the problem?

RE: LAN Play with (PC) PPSSPP and PSP
I dont know if MHFU would break off psp connection when playing for a few time,
the only my problem when using ProOnline is that Pro Online would freeze my PSP if I remove the battery on my psp >.<

at least, playing MHP3rd HD using this feature (psp+pc) is very stable. I recommend this.

RE: LAN Play with (PC) PPSSPP and PSP
Welcome. I have a small problem. I turned on the server and the PC can connect to it, but the PSP does not. The game is MHFU.
PS: Sorry for bad English
