| RE: power vr
Well the main problem of your phone is the GPU, after it a 1+GHz Cortex A8 is not too bad, but a little short for the PSP emulator. PowerVR is a great brand but you have a very old GPU. About your future phone, it depends how much do you want to spend and if you can the nexus 4 is a good choise for 299$/€(Depend of your country)

For now even if you get a new phone it will be difficul to play any game on the phone to full speed. Maybe in 2 months. Nexus 4 just can be buyed online, also in uk but is out of stock. I prefer xperia play to SGS more if is SCL but the done is done. If I were you I will wait 1-2 if the emulator get multicore support and see if it run smooth on phones likes mine (SGS2). And depend on the money you could waste buy a phone or others SGS3 is 350 Pounds new. If I have to buy a new phone today probably will buy a chinesse one like JIAYU G4 for 160 pounds more o less a little more powerful than a SGS 2 but I don't know how is the graphic I think also is a little weak. And is chinesse 1 months for receive it and no gurarantees So if I were you I will wait a little. PD: I think this thread is a little Off topic. We can continue there if they move it

no threads ok as it concerns ppsspp compatibility, also theres a few iv got in mind huawei ascend g330 zte grand x etc, i love tech ie mobiles but i dont like spending too much on a mobile, i like galaxy ace 2 aswell 800 mhz dual core good gpu also, if i bought that ivwould overclock to a possible 1.2 ghz, only problem for me would be screen size i would be going back a step, i like ascend p1 but gpu is powervr. anyway for now till progress is made im hammering resident evila on fpse i might be gwttin a nexus 7 also Its a flipup between that and kindle fire hd.

I seen a video of devs using openCL on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 & I was wondering if someone could use that to get more power out of a emulator.

hi henrick I got a weird thing maybe a good one lets see, anyways not been on for a while so started checking latest builds etc no speed also im only using one cso file(wipeout pure) mk doesnt work at mpment so i cant really test that, the strange thing is i tried 0.61 on your website as i never tried it and it runs not far off full speed. I couldnt belive it, its nearly playable so maybe there is hope I thought i would tell you as you might be able to pinpoint the problem with power vr, it works ok in 0.61 but slow in the newest builds thx.

@carter cheers m8, i thought so was pretty fast but you could tell there was something like frameskipping , wasnt smooth but defo potential, frameskipping should help a lot. ye i woild like to see that amongst other things its a shame my gpu is poor my cpu 1.35 ghz, i think thats more than enouph gpu power vr sgx530. @ carter07 how does it run for you?, i seem to recall you sayin u got a power vr.thx Also im gettin a tablet on wednesday dual core 1.6 ghz, gpu mali 400 mp dual should be full speed. I was gonna getva nexus but the non removable battery put me off. nexus 7 that is .
