1. run game
2. press start until see the menu
3. do not create save. you can use save state as a save game (esc -> save state. load save = load state)
4. play Big Grin
5. turn off HW Transform for better performance

I don't understand how do u get better performance with HW transform off? When i turn it off game works even worst then it was.

GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 (Sapphire Vapor-X)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.9GHz (OC)
RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz

Yeah, I don't understand it also. I get better performance with HT off in this game as well. Same thing for God of War Chains of Olympus as well. Logically speaking performance should be worse with it off.

Are you running the game on Android?

Both games are also heavily CPU capped.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

I notice you're running PPSSPP in Windows XP. Would Windows XP give extra performance for PPSSPP as compared to Windows 7?

Also, I guess OCing your Core 2 to 3.2 GHz also helps gain more FPS. Mine is at 2.8 GHz and I can't even reach 60 FPS, even with HT off.

Ahh, I understand now how commander1610 got 60 FPS in Tekken 6.

He was in practice mode lol. FPS there is the highest since there're no background stage effects to render.

commander1610, try playing arcade mode, you'll notice FPS dips in certain heavier stages, especially with Hardware Transform on.

RE: Tekken 6
Fair enough. Must be the OCing to 3.2 GHz that helped. I'm just trying to see what's different. No offense intended, thanks for the screenshots by the way.

Tekken DR runs much, much more smoothly on Android as compared to Tekken 6.
