Unfortunately whatever config you use it will remain that slow. There's currently a bug that makes the emulator draw every image 8 times. Until that's fixed this game will be extremely slow on most devices.

check this unknown a solution to fix the speed, at least in windows, not sure if it works on android

Would it help other games as well? Or just games with issues similar to God of War and Fat Princess?

Games that wait for a vblank probably won't be affected at all. But games that just render as fast as the GPU can go (which is apparently what these two games at least do), will be.

That said, timing issues can be a little unpredictable. It could even fix bugs (it did in ClaDun X2), or affect performance - better or worse - in any game.

Little more fixing and this will reach 60 FPS... Now, with buffered rendering (in v0.7 - 553) i have about 35-45 FPS when fighting, and 50-55 FPS when not fighting, and without buffered rendering i have 45-55 FPS when fighting, and 58-60 when not fighting.. That's on my poor AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+ 2,00GHz (stock). Also, in intro FPS are very low.. Don't know why, maybe that's only on my PC. Also, i get less FPS with frame skip enabled. Don't ask me how. Devs, please fix this a little bit more, so we all can enjoy God of War Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus.. Yeah, i have to test Chains of Olympus now. Big Grin
EDIT: Seems Chains of Olympus works same, or a little slower than God of Sparta, for me. Please, devs, fix this a little bit more. Tnx u. Smile

android,i got now 19-23 fps in battle whit frame skip enable,whitout frame skip is slow as hell.

when no fighting 26 fps

is slow,but playable.

on windows full speed
