I'm also on android, I use the git builds, I don't know if he is to. I haven't really checked it in a while so I'll test it when I get home. The save states themselves worked from what I remember, but after loading them the emu would just close at about 30 seconds into the game.

Sorry it took so long to get back the results of later tests. I've been busy. On the latest git builds the savestates are working for me now, and in-game saves work as well.
