Try the game with these settings, no flickering or freezes.
Also we both have a Nvidia card, so shouldn't be different outcome.
                       

Update: Turn Off Multi-Threading as that is the cause of the flickering in game.
Just tried game with Non-Buffered Rendering & I must say it looks 100% better graphics wise, just look for yourself:
           

If you still get freezes then update your graphics card driver to v332.21 as mine is.
