Daxter cutscence and gameplay frame dips

Hi, first I'd like to thank the ppspp crew for such an excellent emulator. I have gaming PC i59600k with a 1660ti and Daxter runs fine however the gameplay is running at 30 fps while cutscences in this game are at 60fps. Whenever there's a transition it would be very laggy and annoying which is not game breaking or anything but is there a setting that I'm missing to smoothen the transition.
