Properly installing a good CFW?

RE: Properly installing a good CFW?
There are three things you can do:
- update to 6.61 and try infinity hack then install cfw on top of it,
- update to 6.61 and install temporary cfw on top of it,
- keep 6.60 and install temporary cfw on top of it.

For PPSSPP use and minimal amount of work I would recommend the last one:
- get PRO-C fix 3(since as noted there with latest C2 you can forget about psone games),
- extract only PROUPDATE and FastRecovery into your PSP\GAME folder,
- make sure your battery is full just in case and run PROUPDATE following instructions, but I think they were limited to "press any key" or something alike took few moments so I don't remember exactlyTongue,
- from now on just run FastRecovery every time you completely reboot your PSP and want to reactivate CFW, in practice it will still be somewhat permanent as most people never turn off their PSP completely.

Quickest way to test whenever you have CFW active or not will be by pressing select.:]
