I can play in Prometheus Server with my 3G Connection [Smart Telecom - Philippines]
(aside from the horrible latency during peak hours = Broke off)

Probably, your Data Plan or Network only opened a certain range of Port(s) which includes the one that Monster Hunter is using.

And by the way, in Monster Hunter 3rd, GH1 is sometimes/always empty. Try to find them in other Rooms (GH7 or GH12)
