Crisis Core on iOS

I'm using the latest dev-working build from Cydia on iOS 8.1.2, iPod Touch 5th Gen.

The game boots up, and you can select the load or new game options. I select new game, then normal mode and that's when the game stops working properly. The screen should show a cut scene, but all it shows is a black screen with subtitles being shown on the bottom. Audio is working, you can pause/resume the cutscene, but once the dialog is over, nothing new is loading.

Any idea on what's going on?

I know the ISO isn't faulty because it works on the pc version of the emulator.
