Ok, so the problem I'm having is that the text is not displaying correctly at all. It's all a bunch of random symbols. Changing the rendering mode doesn't seem to have any effect. The game seems to work perfectly fine otherwise, though.
I've also tested it in v0.9.8-1088, v0.9.9-80, v0.9.8-1707 and v0.9.7-1 and they all have the same problem....
However, the text displays fine in v0.8.1-370 (not saying that the text ceases to work in versions newer than this or anything, it's just a random older version that I happened to still have)

I guess it's not too much of a big deal since I could just play it in v0.8.1, but I'd much rather play it in a newer version haha........

Btw, not sure if it's relevant but I believe the text is encoded in UTF-16?
