RE: FPS hiccups...
Hello, fade2black001.

Hiccups can be caused by many factors. Almost all of which can be eliminated thanks to your system specs, which are overkill for this emulator.

Except for perhaps, Texture Scaling. Do you have it set to some excessive value like 5x Hybrid/Bicubic etc.?

Also, just in case, check to see whether your GPU is clocking itself up appropriately for the emulator. I've had reports from some other AMD/ATI GPU users that their GPUs aren't going into performance clocks for the application, especially for the 64bit version of the emulator. Which ultimately results in lower than expected performance for systems easily capable of handling the program.

You can check this out by using a GPU monitoring program like GPUz:-

Thanks for your time.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1
