My question is: how in the world do you play it in 60 fps? The game seemingly has an internal 30 fps cap, and from what i gather from this thread: forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4799 hacking a particular game to perform 60 fps internally is a tremendously difficult process. Are some you actually referring to your speed rather than internal fps, or has someone managed to hack it? Or is it just some simple option to check that I missed?

Playing on PC for now. Would love a reply Smile

Also, any ideas on what the best setup is to make the game really pop, graphically?
Running perfectly using:
Win7 Ultimate x64
i7-860 @ 3.8Ghz
2x2GB PC1600 DDR3
GTX275

I don't think you understood me properly. My computer handles the game just fine (speed wise). What I'm wondering is how some people are playing it in 60 FPS when the game is internally locked at 30 FPS?[b]

Oh, in your very last question I thought you were talking about hardware when you said setup.

(04-09-2014 05:27 PM)TheDax Wrote:  You don't need wireless hardware on your PC to run adhoc stuff in PPSSPP. It's simply an option which emulates the PSP's wireless hardware to a limited degree. You basically turn it on, run the adhoc server, and make sure your PPSSPP.ini is set to connect to localhost or 127.0.0.1 so it connects to only your PC. After that, boss rush mode should work.

Currently, this method is the only way boss rush mode will work, so no, there's no fix forseeable in the future currently, since the guys who worked on the adhoc stuff are missing/taking a break. Perhaps some kind dev will pick it up in the future.

Ah, I was trying to set it up wrong, I figured just running the adhocserver.exe and starting up the game would be too easy. I was trying to set it up in my network settings and it wasnt showing. LoL.

Oh, thats from enabling alternate mode, if you are playing with a ps3 controller just press R3.

Is there any advantage to playing at 60fps vs 30?

RE: Castlevania dracula X ULKS46155
I just tried PPSSPP with Dracula X (USA-version) and it works very well.

I have two questions thou;

1. The image quality looks very processed on the default settings. Is it possible to have more "raw"?
2. In the unlockable extra game, SOTN, the background vortex effect in the beginning when you defeat Dracula is buggy and pixelated. Can this be fixed by some setting or setting hack?

Awesome updates since the last version i downloaded. Now, SOTN has transparency, but a new problem appears. All save rooms has slowdown.

RE: Castlevania dracula X ULKS46155
I have not read the entire thread so I apologize if this has been brought up. Symphony of the Night crashes the entire program when you get to the boss battle where you fight your double that comes out of the mirror. It appears to have something to do with when your double turns into a mist. If you touch it, the program insta-closes.

Tested 0.9.9-41, copy-to-texture effects in SOTN now work fine. Shaft dialog in the main game still has the same issue as before (stops after some time, time counts since the beginning of the level).

EDIT: also boss rush mode now works without adhoc server.

How can I config emu for Original Games: Castlevania Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night? I get freezes and very bad emulation, Dracula X Chronicles runs almost perfectly. My CPU is an Intel I3 3.30 GHz with 4 GB DDR2 RAM (3.14 usable) Windows 7 (SP1) x86 with no graphic card (only integrated one).

Hold on, what do you mean you have no graphics card Huh

EDIT Ah I see you have a integrated card, but that still is classed as a graphic's card / chip on your motherboard.

Any how, what type of graphics card / chip have you then?

But I've read DXC's SOTN has many graphic gliches, so isn't just me

I'm using Core I5, GTX 760 and 8GB ram with all graphics options in "auto", no extra filters and transfer block (unfinished) on with 64-bit build. Save room run slowdown (all other parts run ok) and black areas in SOTN have small points graphic glitch.

Hi! I was following your conversation about the different versions of PPSSPP and I'm running into an issue that perhaps you could help with? I went to the link you provided about the newest versions of the ppsspp and SOTN starts, but after the start screen, I just get black. I can hear the sounds and play the game, It just stays a black screen...I can hear alucard say "Soul Steal" and everything. lol. Not sure what do do from here. Windows 7. ppsspp-v1.1.0-18-gb7725c4-windows-amd64

RE: Castlevania dracula X ULKS46155
I have v1.1.0-19-g4aceb47 running on Windows 7 64 Bit.

It runs on my android perfectly, but not my pc...

Non buffered rendering, but this happens after the start screen with SOTN. I hear the game being played, but screen stays the same. Its either black or trippy pixelations. Help? Would media engine even make a difference here?
