changing ppsspp icon tutorial

changing ppsspp icon tutorial
what you will need ?

icofx (install it to desktop) http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pi...x_portable

some .ico file
here is good site to convert .png to .ico http://convertico.com/

icon i made so if you dont have any u can use my one (right click on image below than save it to desktop and use site above to convert to .ico)

ok before we start copy ppssppwindows.exe file to desktop and place your .ico file you want to switch also to on desktop


step 1
A - .ico file that will replace original one
B - ppssppwindows.exe which will be changed
C - open icofx

step 2

A - right click on ppssppwindows.exe
B - choose properties
C - make sure that WRITE ONLY is NOT CHECKED
D - hit ok

step 3

A - in icofx hit tools
B - choose resource editor
C - OPTIONAL you can click options and choose language to change language

step 4

A - in new window click open resource ico
B - lead to ppssppwindows.exe (which should be on the desktop)
C - click open

step 5

A - select ppsspp icon (left click)
B - click on change icon
C - lead to icon that you desire
D - click open

step 6

A - click save icon to save ur work
B - press ok to confirm saving
C - hit close to close the window if it wont close automatically
D - close icofx window we wont need it any more
F - and here is your new ppsspp file with brand new icon
G - icofx made backup of your ppssppwindows.exe file (PPSSPPWindows.exe.bak) if you want to get iit back just rename it back from "PPSSPPWindows.exe.bak" to "PPSSPPWindows.exe"

Or just make a shortcut and change the shortcut icon. >.<

anyway,i use ResHacker for changing the icons...

yea i know but 1 guy here wanted to change icon of exe so i made tut for him now im making tut on how to use rockedock with shortcuts which is like much more easy and quick way + allow to organize u ur programs in very nice way i will post a link to it here when im done so you guys can see for your self
