Yes, as I said. It supports OpenGL 3.1.0 that is superior to 2.0.

Guys, can anyone explain me it? Always once I open the PPSSPP, says my video card doesn't support OpenGL 2.0, so I'm using the DirectX 9 build. But I was looking the "Device Info", and there says my vídeo card supports OpenGL 2.0, is it a issue?

Bad drivers? Old drivers? Try using the same drivers that PrimaSoul is using, if you both have the same GPU.

Not, his GPU is HD Graphics 3000, mine is Intel G33/G31, his GPU is very powerful, mine is crap. Smile

Well, the G33/31 series didn't support OpenGL 2.0, much less 2.1, so you're out of luck there. The 'directx version' you're referring to emulates an OpenGL ES 2.0 device, so think of it like being an Android or iOS device. PPSSPP supports devices that support OpenGL ES 2.0, so you're fine. As for if ANGLE causes issues though, who knows, I've never used it.

Hey guys, just wondering, what does superior OpenGL support give?, speedups? or is it like Dolphin? which needs DirectX11 for some effects which are not supported by DirextX9?

I don't know about that... probably a much smoother performance for program that required OpenGL support Undecided

RE: Attention: Intel Integrated Graphics Owners on Windows. Read This.
hello guys, im trying to figure out why is my PPSSPP client either 32/64 bit always crashes upon start up.
i have tried making it compatible w my OS and giving it full rights on my system to run and still crashes before i can even tweak the settings or bios.

here is my info see if u can pin point my issue thanks Smile.

Video Card : ATI Tech. inc AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series
Settings on it Total AGM - 4.8gb dedicated 1gb active 1g dormant/overclocked.
OpenGL support and compability 4.2 12172
GLU ver. 1.2.2.0
Current Pixel format : 2

RAM : 16b
AMD MB
Win7 proff. OS

so is my gaming pc which can pretty much run any game in the market atm on all settings and im having some issues figuring out what is causing this incompability.
any feedback accepted thanks guys, awesome emulator btw running 100% smooth on my tablets/phones.

1. You post at the wrong thread

2. update your GPU to 11.11a driver, with Catalyst A.I. or Surface Format Optimization disabled since ATI does have issue on not properly support OpenGL eventho it can support OpenGL2.0 and above

Older drivers for newer AMD cards (e.g. the 7800), especially 11.11a, aren't always the solution, though. Leonids, I'd check and see if any of the older releases work for you, or if you can run any games in Dolphin/other OpenGL-using emulators.

Well, if anyone have the Intel GPU on their PC/Laptop and wanted to configure it out instead of having some extra bucks for buying GPU cards, I have the idea:

1. Download and install Linux distro like Ubuntu and install alongside it with Windows 7.
2. Do some updates into this and that like installing media codecs
3. Install the dependencies to compile PPSSPP from source (compiling from source is much better than using unofficial Linux builds)
4. Perform the application compiling of PPSSPP
5. Run the PPSSPP build that is freshly compiled from your machine.
6. Test it whether it works. If it is ok, so no problem to run it.

Although it is bit pain to install other operating system, but it would be better for Intel GPU users. I had been tested it out with my laptop and it totally works!

can i have the links?

can u all help out here pls, i will just attach the problem of popout message and any information that would help, cause some information like the GPU, is, IDK. but help me pls to run the ppsspp. i really want to play monster hunter

here is the other file,,nah.. information

if i click the update button should th ppsspp will work?

RE: Attention: Intel Integrated Graphics Owners on Windows. Read This.
You're pretty much out of luck on Windows like the first post says, with that 3150. You'll need to run Linux, get a better PC, or wait for the DirectX renderer (but there's not been much progress on it for months). We can't do anything about bad drivers on Windows.

That's nice, but not everyone has a decently OpenGL-compliant Intel GPU (or better yet, a somewhat modern ATI/Nvidia card).
