Afaik there is no networking support implemented in the emulator.

Also it's highly unlikely that custom *.prx files (like AdHocToUSB) will get support.

Hopefully AdHoc will be directly implemented in a way that allows Internet multiplay (which i fear would still require a platform of sorts to limited AdHoc searches to specific "rooms").

RE: xlink kai
In my opinion, Multiplayer Connection should be a Operation in Background.. for now the emulator need compatibility, audio and best optimization possible..

RE: xlink kai
There won't be "Xlink Kai" support but something similar can be done. It's not something that's likely to happen very soon though.

I never played much online on my PSP, what games are the most interesting to play multiplayer?

RE: xlink kai
I've heard monster hunter is? Never played one myself. I'd like to try out Kingdom Hearts since my psp broke before I got my first PS3. Never was able to try it.

RE: xlink kai
Definitely need some multiplayer support just for Monster Hunter...to play Freedom Unite in high resolutions with low latency would be a godsend. Also Portable 3rd, once the comparability for that gets sorted.

I know a tool to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (and other Monster Hunter games I think) with friends online Wink
I never used it but it seems more "private" than XLink Kai Smile
It's called MHPTunnel Smile

RE: xlink kai
I played a lot of Fat Princess online via psn very fun by far the best way to play, never thst many players tho...even back then unlike the ps3. Also via psn was motorstorm also very fun to level up, another via psn was modnation racers that is very fun, Both the latter had plenty of other usersSmile

Xlink kai was great because you ciuld play almost any game online. Initial D was fun and theres apparently a few players here.

Also something like xlink that supports adhoc in a similar way is required isnt it? Since the servers on psn must be on there last leg

Xperia Play 2.3.3

RE: xlink kai
I wonder if they could emulate local wifi connections using a VPN like Tunngle or Hamachi. That might be easier than trying to code their own version of xlink kai or whatever. Would even be more stable, methinks.

Though I guess I don't know anything about it >_>
