PPSSPP wired LAN in Linux
I'm using PPSSPP 1.54 on Debian 9.3, i connected 2 PCs witha LAN cable and configured the IPs in Network MAnager, enabled WLAN in PPSSPP and built-in AD-hoc server on the PPSSPP's network options and It doesnt work. Does anyone know how to play PPSSPP multiplayer games in Debian?

RE: PPSSPP wired LAN in Linux
It might be the type of cable you have.
A simple, basic Ethernet cable used for an internet connection between router/modem and computer won't work for computer-to-computer connection.
It takes a special kind of two-way Ethernet-like cable, that's made specifically for computer-to-computer/LAN connectivity.

However, if the cable you're using is actually made for LAN...
I'm sure there's an extra step needed, such as using the local IP in the "PRO Adhoc server IP address" option on all PPSSPP instances being used.

But I can't 100% confirm the exact steps needed for local LAN, seeing as I don't have a proper LAN cable to test it for myself yet.
I've only had experience with using Hamachi, and it works out fine for me. I'm sure someone else may have the proper answer, and know of the correct steps needed.
The most I can do is try to help with troubleshooting.

RE: PPSSPP wired LAN in Linux
I don't think the problem is in the cable because I also tested RetroArch and it worked fine, so the problem is the program. Is there an equivalent to Hamachi in Linux? What does Hamachi do exactly?

RE: PPSSPP wired LAN in Linux
Hamachi basically lets you play games in wireless/local LAN mode, but online.
I have no idea if there's a Linux version of it, or if there's any Linux alternative unfortunately. I'm a Windows user myself.

What about android devices? I watched a tutorial for multiplayer PPSSPP on 2 android devices and an extra program wasn't involved

RE: PPSSPP wired LAN in Linux
Fixed it: None of the games i was testing work on PPSSPP's Adhoc. After watching the list i tested tekken6 and platypus, they worked ok
