I made 2 tests, first time I set DMZ, but that's generally bad idea so I then tried with only port 27312 forwarded and disabled dmz and it still worked;p. (Made the dude inside some hopes for multi ~ sorry whoever you were xD).

can i help you test hamachi? been using it for a while and what to see how well quests work with it

My screenie is from coldbird server, but well if you want we could test hamachi. I'm not into playing right now, don't have pad connected, didn't passed even 1 quest on MHp3rd with my char either, but we could just test if stuff works^^.
Made a hamachi server right now:

I'll later delete that info, but for now I guess up to 4 people are free to connect for testing:]. Game ~ MHp3rd, unless you want to test other one(if I have it).

Edit: hamachi seems to fail? Trying to figure it out. xD

Unfortunately, i can't get it to work :-(
Me and my friend tried to play, gathering hall connected ok, but client drops at quest start. Dropped client stays at "Preparing quest" screen, host's game starts normally.
We are connected via vpn, no routers/firewalls are running. I am running w8, my friend runs w7, both x64. We both can host, no ports are blocked. What can i do to help resolve this issue?
