Helo, i have psp rom (god of war ghost of sparta) but run very slow in samsung galaxy s4 Sad in 11fps to 15fpx max, the video run normaly but gameplay is very very very slow.

Use fast memory, tested in rendering in buffer mode (cpu and gpu but same result), alternative speed to 125%, force max fps enabled, transform by hardware enable, cache enable, low quality enable, filters disabled, disable alpha test enabled.

Use ppsspp v0.9.5

I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask. I'm playing God of War: Chains of Olympus and have made it as far as the basilisk. Now, I have to rotate the analog stick to beat it. I'm using a keyboard and I've no idea how to do it. If anyone has gotten past this using a keyboard, please tell me how you did it. Thanks in advance.

Just a heads up, the game should run much better now since Software Skinning was implemented into PPSSPP by Henrik.

To recap, the three main important options to maximize your performance in this game without compromising the graphical fidelity:

1. Enable "Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 (speeds up GoW)" in the Graphics Options.

2. Make sure "Software Skinning" is enabled in the Graphics Options.

3. Head to the "Change CPU Clock" option in "System Options" and set the clock to as low as 60 Mhz. 111 MHz if you have a better machine. This will force the game to run at only 30 FPS instead of the usual 60 FPS, but your Speed will be much higher as a result, and the game is still smooth enough.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-

The 'Timer Hack' work wonders as well .. with it, my note 3 able to run the game smoothly at full speed .. no kidding .. the only drawback is the crackling sound..

just found out that somehow you need to enable the Show FPS Counter in order to get full speed with timer hack .. else, it wont get full speed ..
My setting (PPSSPP 0.9.5-479:
Mode-Non buffered
Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 Checked
Features: Check all
Performance: Check all
Texture filter: Linear on FMV
Timer Hack Check
Show FPS counter Both

Enable sound check

Fast Memory check
Multithreaded check
i/o in thread check

Rest are default - just to note i'm using Note 3 Qualcomm version ..

Hope the dev can take note of this because somehow the Show FPS counter does affect performances which too me it should not .. perhaps there are some dependencies of settings that cause this positive effect ..

Now, if only the crackling sound can be fixed ..

Devs, cmon, will you fix speed problems in this game? Also, when will you fix Buffered Rendering problem in DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi Tag Team? Few games that very perfectly playable are now partially broken. Better fix those games, later do homebrow zip file things fix.
