It would be helpful to know the earliest version that is still broken. -272 definitely doesn't affect any of the code so it can't be that version. Do you know at least what revision it was last working in? The last time you posted was like 2 weeks ago, but a range of 300 commits is just too many to go through.

I can confirm 6.1 as working (not that that is really helpful, but i'm going to try the revisions after that on my xperia play)

we can confirm it broken in 272.

Just Checked 271. It also appears to be broken.

Going to check 270 and then go to bed

270 confirmed broken. screw sleep I have a theory this started on r268. I'm going to test this

...268 and 267 both broken. well that kills my theory. Does anyone think a bug report should be filed on this? I'm also seeing problems with project diva extended

Sorry, it's fastest to use what's called a binary search. For example, if you know -1 is working and -200 is broken, try -100. If it's working, the problem is higher, if it's not, the problem is lower.

There's a bug report already for Project Diva Extend. If it was the same problem, it was broken sometime after -193 and before -208.

Yup I know, however I thought I saw a trend and that would have been more efficient if I was right anyway I don't have the time currently to do a binary search on this so if anyone else does feel free

Ok got around to the binary search...

170 is ok
...several revisions are missing android builds.
moving to 227... r227 is not expanded and only showing the top corner but it did crash on menu. it does this on project diva extended as well

197 is ok...
213 is crashing (same problem as 227)
205 same problem.
201 is working.
203 is working.

Since there is no 204 revision something must have went wrong in version 205. it also appears that all revisions crash with project diva which means that problem was farther back.

I hope this info is helpful, and should I submit a bug report or anything?

It looks like it's caused by my atrac changes (which would mean it's totally unrelated to the problem in Project Diva Extend):

Perhaps I should use the longer of the two estimates. It seems like most games have issues when it's too short, not when it's too long (although many games wait for it to end, etc.) It may also be possible to estimate better. Grr.

its still not yet fixed +_+ .... ( ive checked the latest build...) ... plus it crashed really early... so i cant even go in game anymore

k on ppsspp v0.6-579 the size problem is fixed though corpse party still crashes

Tested this on 0.7 on my xperia play and its playable now. Sprites are showing up, no crashes, its a little slow and the music and some sound effect are missing but you could beat the game in this state if you so wished.

The voices seem to come in and out and the intro is missing but its looking pretty good now.

Can someone move this over to playable games?

ok, I'm using version 0.7 on my rooted sony xperia play.

im using default settings (so active settings are: sound emulation, buffered rendering, hardware transform, vertex cache, JIT. Everything else is not on)

It crashes on fastmem for me so I would keep that off.

And that's about as detailed as I can be.

Also I am running the game compiled as an iso, not a cso.

Id upload a video of me playing but I currently lack any means to record. sorry bout that.

Any other questions?

ok thanks ... and i just figured out why it didnt work ... on closer inspection i was actually running the 6.1 as the official playstore hasnt been updated Tongue .... thanks anyways
