The frame rate on this game only drops for me when its loading areas of the city and such. and a little bit during the battle areas. The audio stutters the same way when the frame rate drops in these areas. After encountering several area loads the audio gets stuck in the low frame rate state.(09-03-2014 04:09 PM)Alcatraz0890 Wrote: The latest working builds have introduced an audio problem for me. Some time after playing the audio starts to stutter and character voices have an echoish effect when it occurs. The FPS counter stays at around 30 so its not because of low frame rate. The game is Persona 3 Portable. I am playing on the iPad Mini 1st gen. It runs pretty smooth for the most part until the stuttering effect occurs and does not go away no matter what settings I fiddle with. It does go away for a couple seconds if i go into settings and change something but comes back after a little bit. This never happened on the last build before the repo came back. Dude what about me saying that I have messed with every single setting do you not understand? I have tried everything to be sure I could not fix it myself before stating my problem here. |

You're coming across as kinda rude But seeing as though im a nice guy, i'll help you out Start the game you want to play, get into the actual game (past all menu's or whatever), then pause it and bring up the PPSSPP Settings menu. In the 'Audio' section, set Audio Latency to Low and enable the Speed Hack, once you've done this put your device into the oven for 17 minutes at Gas Mark 4, take it out and you shouldnt have a sound problem anymore Remember - it HAS to be 17 minutes (not a minute more or less) Please report back with your results so it can help anyone else having this problem |

I said initially that I have messed with every single setting. And I shall clarify that I have done so before and in game. I don't post problems if I couldn't solve it myself. Nothing fixes it. I sound rude cause I hate repeating myself. |

RE: PPSSPP Automated Builds for iOS, Android, OS X, and Linux
If you really messed with every setting and such, then the emulator just needs to be updated some more to get that problem fixed. Nothing we can do except wait for a new release.

LOL, as zergslayer said...it's probably a problem with the emulator, you'll have to wait for an update

I reported it so it could be looked into. But thanks anyways. |

PPSSPP runs as mobile, and therefore cannot write to a file that is owned by root. To solve this, run the following commands in a Terminal session (SSH or on-device): Code: chown -R mobile:mobile /User/Documents/PSP/ If you want to prevent this from happening in the future, transfer your save files using SSH/SCP (FileZilla, CyberDuck, or WinSCP all work fine) as the user mobile. -angelXwind sinks back into her hiding hole- |

RE: PPSSPP Automated Builds for iOS, Android, OS X, and Linux
No word on reicast then? I noticed the dev basically ignored the guy who inquired and I'm curious as well.
Google is absent of any mention apart from 2013 posts. |
