Can you use JPCSP saves in PPSSPP? I've been playing a game in JPCSP and recently it started working in PPSSPP so I tried copying over the save data and it caused the game to crash at the menu.

I removed the save data and it works fine now. Is there a way to use JPCSP saves or is it not possible?

In some cases it may be possible, but they're not always compatible. We aim to be compatible with saves from the actual PSP.

That said, I did just fix a crash which might solve it, it should be on the downloads page soon.

Thanks! I guess I will just have to start over again.

Interestingly, on the latest build, the game no longer crashes but does not recognize the saves.

Yeah, someone reported this happening with FF4's data.

I know a way that could work as a workaround, but the problem is it wouldn't actually be correct and could potentially affect compatibility for some games.
