I would say that's what bothers me most about playing on android tablets its the audio is off

For which games? There are many games I play with little to no audio issues. But then again, I don't use frame skipping and run them on the Nvidia Shield Tablet so they tend to run full speed most of time. I think you will have to wait for the emulator to get better with more development, Android software to become better with resource management and in general for gaming, and better tablet hardware.
