Quite hard to get started, well I simply just hit the select/X buttons to avoid brutal static screens for the HD mode, this is what I get so far. Shy

Hey guys

I recently "got this from a friend", but i got a folder instead of the ISO i was expecting

In that folder is another folder named BLJM85001

I read somewhere that you can install that Monhun using this file i got on a PS3, but i dont have a PS3 and was wondering if i could still use this file and play it on the PPSSPP emulator

Thanks in advance!

Right after posting this, I realized that I could play it (kinda). I actually ended up adding PPSSPP to steam and using the PC Games streaming service it worked flawlessly. Steam treats the nvidia controller as an xbox controller so PPSSPP has no problems with it. The games look a little more vibrant when rendered natively, but it is hard to beat the raw power of a computer with beast of a graphics card. Though, I'd still rather have this playable on android, because I actually (somehow) got it to run once with the JIT and it got great frame rates.

I can make a video if anybody wants to see it.

Was going well, but ran into one single problem. I tried running no saves from standard. Worked fine.
I then downloaded a save from Team Maverick which has all the DLC quests on. For some reason it counts the save as corrupted (yes cheats are disabled). Any hints?
Much appreciated Smile
Its not a major deal, just wondering

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER - TheDax - 09-27-2013 04:39 PM

The DLC from that dropbox link under "DLC Download" works fine for me. Are you sure it's not your regular save that's somehow become corrupt?

The DLC works fine, make sure the word of save game likie ULJM05800QST and ULJM05800 not in one folder...

Ive found a way to make this game work on android...

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER - TheDax - 09-29-2013 01:32 PM

Care to share then? Just saying you found a way doesn't benefit anybody.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER - rageracer6 - 09-29-2013 08:35 PM

okay im using ppsspp 0.9.1 1319 gcfb05e6
here its is

this step needs time so if you want it. please be patient okay ?

1. open ppsspp. make sure you have Mhp3rd HD ver.

2.disable the JIT

3.Open Mhp3rd. Now it will boot but the controls are not working

4.Wait for the game to finish the video and you will see the Title Screen

5.At the Title Screen,Press back button of your android and go to Game Settings>System>Check The JIT

6. Press Continue. (this will not make the controls respond) and wait until the Capcom sign appears again .

7. Press back Button and Exit the Game

8. Start The game Again. Now it will work but dont expect too much speed because its HD ver.

If that couldn't work. do the steps again but don't do step 5 so here is the optianal step

4b. In Title Screen. Wait Until The video repeats again. and proceed to step 5

That's all I got. If it couldn't work. well I don't know it but I manage to play it on the Galaxy Tab 2. please tell me the results after you do it. Smile) hope these helps you

Is it normal that many sections are still in Japanese, on patch 5.0 ?
