Are the 2 Launchpad ppa's NOT being mantained? I ask because testing has been on 1.5.4 for months and stable is still on 1.5.4 as well. Meaning the PPA has not been seeing updates for a while now.

I'm a noob Linux user, still using 1.5.4, I'm clueless but it looks like you're right
