Just as onelight said, the game can only be played online with jpcsp emulator.

1 PPSSPP with 1 JPCSP half work
2 or 3 PPSSPP with 1 JPCSP not work
EDIT: 1 PPSSPP with 2 or 3 JPCSP half work.(PPSSPP 1.0 and up)

BTW
Evolve is the best method for Ad-Hoc Multplayer I think.

Not related to Adhoc but this game since the lastest builds is getting massive slowdowns on some stages (most notably the ZZ Gundam stage) where the FPS dips to half-speed (30/60 fps).

The weird thing is, it only happens on the 32bit build, the 64bit builds are fine.

Also, i've noticed that disabling Vsync improves the FPS a bit on both 32bit and 64bit builds, i guess this game doesn't like Vsync.

EDIT: I've also noticed that when someone uses Trans-AM the game stutters a bit if you're using Texture Scaling, so disabling it is advised for smoother gameplay.

I've noticed that the error (2:45) happens only after someone receives an attack, specially the triangle button attacks (or a couple of seconds after). If the attacks don't hit, the error won't show up.

As the battle gets more and more chaotic the error will pop up, if any AI is present the error will happen a lot more faster (5 to 30 seconds).

Of course, this error only happens when using JPCSP as host and PPSSPP as player. JPCSP to JPCSP is perfectly fine.

Yes that is it. Last time, I play GVGNP with shadowofstar using PPSSPP and JPCSP.
when attack, 2 emu might get different result(attacked or miss attack), and get that error.

Yeah... did some testing here and GVGNP returns these two values:

__KernelStopThread: thread xxx does not exist
sceKernelCreateThread(name=AdhocThread): unsupported options parameter 00001000

Just tested it, the error also happens when trying with old JPCSP builds (3527 onwards).

As long as these happen:
__KernelStopThread: thread xxx does not exist
sceKernelCreateThread(name=AdhocThread): unsupported options parameter 00001000


Nothing can be done.
